These 4.5 inch discs are stiff to the touch but provide some give during use hence their "semi-flexible" name. Each semi flex disc is coated with premium Silicon Carbide abrasive grains, which are extremely sharp, boasting an impressive hardness, leading to faster cuts and finer scratch patterns. Semi-flexible silicon carbide discs are engineered for fast grinding and removal of thick adhesive-type coatings, epoxy, urethane, rubberized coatings, mastic, sealers from concrete as well as a variety of surfaces including metal, enamel, fiberglass, porcelain, brick, masonry and marble. These discs can also remove mill scale, light rust, paint, dirt, mud or just generally grind down concrete, stone, etc. The spiral design of the disc allows for this cooler, more aggressive grinding and also helps to prevent loading.
